FORMAL NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Monday 22 November 7.30pm – 8.30pm via zoom

Dear Club Secretaries,

All clubs within Sydney East Hockey Association (SEHA) as allocated by HockeyNSW are invited to attend the virtual Annual General Meeting on Monday 22 November 2021 commencing 7.30pm via zoom.

Each club will be entitled to give one (1) vote, if there is more than one nominee for a position.  Each club may have up to 5 club members attend the AGM.

Notice of Special Resolution, to be voted on at the Sydney East Hockey Association AGM on Monday 22nd November 2021.

Prior to the election of Board Director, Convenor and Committee elections, the following Notice of Motion will need to be voted:-

“To update our SEHA Constitution to allow directors to re-stand for election at conclusion of their 2x2year term by removing clause 15.4 (b) from the Constitution”

It will be necessary to fill the following 4 Board positions:

• ^Women’s Director (2 year term expiring)
• ^Representative Director (2 year term expiring)
• *Governance Director (2 year term expiring)
• *Minute Secretary (1 year term expiring)

Note:

^For the above position the current incumbent can renominate subject to the passing of the special resolution

*For the above positions the current incumbents can renominate to stand for another 2 year term.

Other Board positions: President, Juniors Director and Finance Director and Development Director, on year one of a 2 year term.

1. Forward this Notice to your SEHA club delegate to please hold the date.
2. Any Notices of Motion are due to the SEHA Secretary by Friday 15 October at email: administration@seha.com.au

Note - Members entitled to vote may submit notices of motion for inclusion as special business at a General Meeting. All notices of motion must be submitted in writing to the Secretary not less than thirty-five (35) days (excluding receiving date and meeting date) prior to the General Meeting
