Prelim Finals Results – 24/8/19

Grand Final Matches

Saturday 31/8, Kyeemagh

11am Esquires 1 v Pohogs 1

12.45pm Dolphins 2 v Sharks 2

2.30pm Dolphins 3 v Bentstix 3

4.15pm Dolphins 4 v Bentstix 4W

 

A reminder there are presentations after each match and if there is extra time there will be a tight turnaround – your assistance with having teams move directly to the presentation area after the match is appreciated.

 

Further a reminder again about

  1. No spectators on the bunker side of the field
  2. No children in the bunkers
  3. Players must sign on before taking the field
  4. There are stoppages for injury during grand finals
  5. Abusive behavior from bunkers will not be tolerated

 

A reminder that the Kyeemagh venue is licensed and alcohol may not be brought onto the premises.

Good Luck to all teams on the weekend and an advance thank you to our officials and umpires who have been doing a great job so far.

WET WEATHER

In preparation for the weekend and in case of inclement weather, the committee would like to confirm wet weather procedures:

 

  1. A decision on proceeding in the weather will be made by the umpires, who may consult with the tech bench – based on safety
     
  2. In the event of the match starting, but being called off prior or during half time, the match will be recorded as a 0-0 result and Joint Premiers will be declared, presentations will take place immediately
     
  3. In the event of the second half proceeding, and the match then being called off, the result will stand – presentations will take place immediately.
     
  4. In the event of the match not commencing at all, the game will be played on Sunday, September 22nd 2019 at a time between 8.30am and 30pm, presentations will be at the end of the match.
     
  5. NO draw requests will be taken
     
  6. Should wet weather affect matches proceeding on 22/9/19 – Joint Premiers will be declared and no further rescheduling will occur.
     
  7. Should any other event prevent matches proceeding above procedures would apply
