Step Up – Technical Officials and ground convenors
SEHA encourages you to consider getting involved and share your passion for the game by becoming a technical officials by:
· familiarising yourself with the current FIH Hockey Rules and also any local departures from the rules as required in our local SEHA competition Rules (women's, juniors or schoolgirls)
· developing an awareness of the variety of practical Technical officiating skills, and self development to meet the demands the modern game and our local competitions.
· having the confidence to practice and integrate acquired knowledge and skills and consider becoming a SEHA ground marchsall or nominate to go to State championships as an technical official.
Gaining Accreditation in 3 Steps
Step 1 - register/complete NCAS online module in your own time at this LINK
Level 1 cost: $50 to Hockey Australia
Step 2 – advise your club coaching coordinator that you wish to become a technical official
Step 3 - Attend a coaching workshop and practical assessment by a SEHA authorised assessor can be organised by your club coaching/development coordinator.
